Alphington Primary School found the bird on Thursday (7th June) but it can't be moved without a licence from Natural England.
The kitchen manager made the discovery at 0800 and is now unable to switch on the oven, because the gas extractor fan is blocked by the nest.
Seagulls are protected, so in order to move the nest, the school has to apply to Natural England for a special licence. They've been told this could take up to a month.
The school provides around 300 hot meals a day to Ide & Alphington Primary schools.
