An East Devon man who tried to stand for election for the Ukulele Independence Party has been told he can't - because the name's too similar to UKIP.
Kevin Tyrrell from Budleigh, a keen ukulele player, had the name rejected by the Electoral Commission.
He'd been hoping to inject some humour into the election campaign in East Devon.
