One person still missing
An arson investigation is underway after a blaze on a two-story house in the town centre of Bideford.
Fifteen crews from across Devon spent more than four hours tackling the blaze on Honestone Street in Bideford on Tuesday (28 October) evening.
Five people have been arrested and are being questioned. The next of kin of the person who is still unaccounted for are aware.
Police and ambulance were also called out, and more than 40 residents had to be evacuated, some of which have been told they can't return for a few days.
The incident also caused a huge power surge in the area for more than 200 locals.
