Dog fouling in Exeter is being tackled by the city council - by spraying warning messages to irresponsible owners on pavements.
The stencilled signs show a dog doing its business with the message 'clean it up or face a one thousand pound fine'.
The scheme's being trialled in Ladysmith Road, one of the main problem areas, and if it makes a difference it'll be extended to other parts of the city.
