The Devon and Cornwall police and crime commissioner Tony Hogg has joined up with his counterparts in five other force areas to lobby the policing minister over further funding cuts.
They've written a joint letter to Damian Green pointing out the effects of the continuing grant reductions.. higher costs... and the uncertainty over how funding will be allocated in the near future.
They're asking if PCCs can be more involved in Government decisions which will affect local policing budgets.
