A person's died after being struck by a train at Topsham near Exeter.
The incident happened last night at the Toffles crossing and involved the 7.33 train from Paignton to Exmouth.
British Transport police and Devon and cornwall police officers were called to the scene as well as paramedics...but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A file's being prepared for the coroner. The railway line was closed for around three hours, but reopened at midnight.
