Appeal for witnesses to attack on man in Honiton

Police in Honiton are investigating a possible airgun or BB gun attack which left a man needing surgery.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in Kings Road.

He was hit by a missile apparently fired from a car which approached him on the other side of the road and was travelling away from town.

The vehicle is described as about the size of an estate car, dark blue or purple in colour with blacked-out windows.

Any witnesses are asked to contact the police quoting crime reference 697 30/08/15
