An elderly woman is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Dawlish.
The pedestrian in her mid-70s was on the pavement when a car left the road, veered through a garden and crashed into a bungalow, hitting the woman on its way.
She suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
The driver, a man in his 80s, suffered minor injuries.... his car was badly damaged along with the house.
A serious collisions investigation has begun and police would like to hear from anyone who has information.
