Serious crash on A35 near
Officers were called at 1.24pm on Friday to an incident involving a Toyota Yaris and a Vauxhall van at the Tower Cross junction near Honiton Garden Centre.
The passenger of the Toyota Yaris, a woman in her 50s, was airlifted to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Police are keen to speak to the driver of a Grey Mini Cooper S who is believed to have been travelling behind the Toyota Yaris prior to the collision. It’s believed they may have information that may aid the investigation.
The A35 was closed in both directions and localised diversions were put in place at the scene.
