It's been revealed that Exeter city centre has the highest rates of car crime in the EX postcode area.
A postcode map of England has been published by the consumer website Honest John, based on police figures.
In the EX postcode area the EX1 city centre area had the most thefts of cars or their contents, and criminal damage to vehicles, with 141 offences per 10 thousand registered vehicles.
Exmouth had 54, Honiton 41, Tiverton 31 and Crediton just 13.
