Axminster Carpets employees facing redundancy after this week's announcement of job cuts will be offered specialist employment and legal advice today.
Their union Community are visiting the troubled company which went into administration on Tuesday - along with representatives from East Devon district council, and local jobcentres.
Three hundred employees are losing their jobs as the firm streamlines operations in the expectation of attracting a buyer to save it and the remaining 100 members of the workforce.
They will be offered advice on claiming benefits and seeking new employment.
