A roadshow's being held in Feniton today to explain new waste collection and recycling arrangements, to be trialled there from mid-September.
East Devon council will be collecting more kinds of waste for recycling every week, and there'll still be weekly food waste collections too.
But the rest of the rubbish, which goes to landfill, will only be picked up every three weeks.
The Colony area of Exmouth has also been chosen for the trial - the two areas have about the same number of households, but provide an urban and a rural environment for testing the system.
The roadshow is at Feniton Sports and Social Club from 11 till 2pm.
