A wildlife charity's calling on local schools to take part in a major survey of the birds visiting their playgrounds.
The RSPB are asking pupils and teachers to spend one hour of one day recording what they see.
The information will be used to build a picture of bird populations and spot any changes.
Exeter-based RSPB spokesman Tony Whitehead says ALL schools can get involved.
