House-to-house enquiries underway
A cordon is in place in the Efford area of Plymouth following an attack on a woman on Friday lunchtime.
Theserious sexual assault took place at around 2 p.m. in the area of Efford Road and Eggbuckland Road.
Specialist trained officers are now supporting the female victim.
House-to-house enquiries are being conducted, but no suspect has yet been arrested.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the Eggbuckland Road and Efford areas of Plymouth between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. on Friday 9 June, and would also like to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area during that time that could assist the investigation.
