The man who died after falling whilst walking in Snowdonia at the weekend has been named as a local from Exmouth.
John Gerrard Wynne was walking on Tryfan Mountain with his daughter on Sunday afternoon when it's believed he fell around 200ft.
The local Mountain rescue team attended the scene just after 12.00pm and he was airlifted off the mountain, but he was pronounced dead a short while later.
The 61 year old was a director of the local christian charity 'Open Door Exmouth'.
