Girl was walking dog
Police in Barnstaple are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl was attacked by another teenage girl while walking her dog.
The assault occurred in the area of Pilton Lawn between 3:50 pm and 4.10 pm on Saturday 21 November.
The victim was walking her dog when she was confronted by a large group of youths and assaulted by a female from the group.
The offender pulled the victim’s hair from behind. She fell to the floor and but was subject to a continuing attack with the offender repeatedly hitting her in the face.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the attack, or have any information that could help is asked to contact police on 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk quoting crime reference number CR/098104/20.
