Teenagers robbed in Barnstaple

Two incidents, three victims

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following reports of two robberies of teenage boys in Barnstaple, on Saturday 11 December.

The first, involved a teenager being approached by two young males, who threatened him with knives and demanded he hand over his personal possessions. This was around 8 to 8.30 p.m. in Rock Park, Newport.

In the second incident, two teenage boys were approached by two young males who threatened them with knives and made demands for their personal possessions.

This was in Grosvenor Church car park, Old Station Road, shortly after the first incident.

In each case, the suspects are described as wearing black clothing, with one of them having a black mask up to his nose. One is white and around 6ft tall and the other is white, and around 5ft 9in tall.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw either incident, or has information, to come forward.
