Events start in the City Centre from nine o' clock this morning in preparation for the arrival of The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh at 11.30 in Princesshay.
After arriving by helicopter and travelling to the shopping area opened by the then Princess Elizabeth in 1949, the Royal Party will travel by car along the High Street where crowds are expected to gather.
Her Majesty will then officially open Exeter University's new Forum Centre before having lunch will guests.
There will be updates from the City Centre hourly on Radio Exe News.
