High value burglary at former EDF site
Investigations are ongoing following a high value burglary in Plymouth.
Around £90,000 of cabling was taken from the disused EDF site near Manadon roundabout last Tuesday between 6pm and 2am and an attempted theft took place on Monday before a fire alarm thwarted the efforts.
Detectives believe the two incidents are linked and are appealing to the public for information.
Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage between 3 November and 11 November showing a vehicle parked on, or accessing a cycle/pedestrian path that runs between the Esso garage on Mannamead round and Manadon Roundabout.
It would have likely been evening time and the suspects may have appeared to be Highway workers carrying out path works.
