Three men sought for Plymouth assault

A woman tried to intervene in brawl

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Plymouth two months ago.

It was reported that a man tried to intervene in an altercation outside Club R&R in Union Street and was then assaulted by several men.

The attack, between 4 and 4.20 a.m. on Saturday 15 January, left the victim, aged in his 30s, with cuts and bruises. He was treated in hospital.

Three men, all thought to be aged between 25 and 30, are being sought in connection with the incident.

One is white, of slim to average build with a shaven bald head and full but short beard. He is around 5ft 9in tall and has tattoos on both sides of his face around the outer eye area, as well as a tattoo of a pair of red lips on the right side of his neck and a sleeve of tattoos on his right arm.

He also had a hole in his right ear lobe which suggested that he had worn a stretcher at some time.

A second man is black, 6ft tall, of slim build with long, black hair. He was clean shaven and has what was described as a West Indian accent.

A third man is white, also around 6ft tall and of a quite stocky build with short, light brown/blond hair.

Police would also like to trace a woman who intervened, who is white, around 5ft 9in tall, of biggish build with quite long, reddish hair.
