Man released without charge
A suspected murder in Tiverton is no longer being treated as a crime.
On Friday evening police and other emergency services were called to address in Bluebell Avenue in the town, where a woman in her fifties was declared dead.
A man in his sixties was taken into custody under suspicion of murder.
On Sunday afternoon, following a post-mortem examination, police said the incident was no longer considered suspicious. The man was released without charge and no further police action will be taken.
The enquiry is now to be handed over to the the coroner.
