Network Rail says engineers have worked through the night to repair a sink hole which appeared below tracks at Teignmouth.
The line was closed yesterday (Sunday 16th October) and repairs couldn't start high tide subsided.
Engineers say the line has now reopened, but trains are running at reduced speeds.
