The family of the ten year old boy from Crediton, who died after being in collision with a van, say their lives have been turned upside down and they've been left devastated.
Samuel Crocker was on his way to visit a friend, when the accident happened on Saturday. His family say when he died a bright light went out.
They say someone so small has left a massive hole that can never be filled, but he will always be remembered for his cheeky, fun-loving nature.
A twenty four year old Crediton man has appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to causing his death.
