Two people have been arrested in Exeter on suspicion of conspiracy to murder a man from Hastings in Sussex. Thirty seven year old Karl Bunster went missing in December.
Mr Bunster had been due in court in Hastings at the end of December charged with two counts of assault, but failed to turn up.
After enquiries, Sussex police established he hadn't been seen since before Christmas.
They believed he might be in Devon, but no trace of him has been found.
Now a 48 year old man and a 28 year old woman have been arrested in Exeter on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
They've been transported up to Sussex to be questioned about the disappearance of Mr Bunster.
