Third suspect sought
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following reports of a break-in at a Tesco store in Plymouth in the early hours of this morning [Tuesday 10 March].
Emergency services were call to the facility on Alexandra Road in the Mutley area of the city at 1.40am.
Police conducted searches around the area and this resulted two men being detained and alcohol being recovered.
Detective Sergeant Paula Smith said: “Following extensive searches for the suspects, our dog unit came across a shoe in nearby woodland which we believe may belong to the third suspect.
“We’d like to appeal directly to that person- it is a matter of time before we get to you, so do the easiest thing and hand yourself in.”
The duo, both aged 24, remain in police custody at this time.
