A buddying scheme for vulnerable people in mid-Devon is looking for volunteers.
They need to commit to a few hours a week to help someone else take part in activities such as gardening, catering and office administration.
The idea is to help those people become less isolated and build up their confidence to play a more active role in the community.
It's being co-ordinated by the Involve group supporting voluntary action in the area.
