West Brom allocated under 300 tickets for match against Exeter

West Brom, who currently sit 19th in the Premier League, have been handed a ticket allocation of less than 300 for supporters to back the Baggies in next month’s FA Cup third-round tie at St James Park.

The redevelopment of the away end and the Old Grand Stand means just two stands will be available for the highly anticipated encounter between the Grecians and West Brom next year.

Away tickets will firstly be made available to the 201 away season-ticket holders who can purchase a ticket from 9am on Wednesday, December 20.

The remaining number will go to supporters who have attended every home and away game (including cups) this season and last season.

From City's point of view, tickets have already been sold to Gold members and season ticket holders. A few more tickets are now currently on sale for Bronze members.

Martin Goodman, West Brom CEO, says it's unfortunate that many of West Brom's loyal fans will miss out on buying a ticket:

“We have been left in an impossible position in terms of trying to satisfy the demand from our fans to see the game."

“The allocation is so small that we felt the best method of distribution was to reward the supporters who have shown the highest level of devotion and support for the club.

“We have argued the case for more tickets but safety concerns at Exeter mean we are restricted to this small pocket in one stand. We trust our fans will understand these are difficulties not of our making."
