A woman was left seriously injured
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was left seriously injured following a collision in Brixham.
Officers were called to Burton Street just before 6.30pm on Tuesday 7 February to reports of a collision involving a Volkswagen Transporter and a pedestrian.
The female pedestrian was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for treatment.
The road was closed for almost five hours and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading up to the collision and how the pedestrian came to be injured.
