Witnesses needed to Plymouth 'bottling' robbery

Prescription stolen after struggle

Police are appealing for information over a robbery in Plymouth in which a man was allegedly threatened with a broken bottle.

It's been nearly three months since the incident, around 11.30 a.m. in Cornwall Street, outside the Ivor Dewdney pasty shop, on Saturday 18 September, but police have just announced this appeal.

The victim, in his forties, has reported having his prescription medication stolen after being approached by a man. He says he was threatened with a broken bottle after a struggle.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or has information, to come forward.

A 32-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
