Man in life-threatening condition
A Mid Devon man is seriously injured after being flown by Devon Air Ambulance following a crash near Winkleigh.
A car and a large goods vehicle collided on the A3124 just before 3pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
The driver of the car, a 69-year-old man, sustained injuries thought to be life-threatening. The driver of the commercial vehicle, a man in his 40s, has minor injuries.
Police, fire and ambulance staff attended the incident and have thanked members of the public for the patience whilst the road was closed. Police need witnesses to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting log 552 250520.
