It happened in Somerset over the weekend.
Emergency Services were called at 6am on Saturday morning (16th November) after a car collided with a lorry on the Southbound carriageway between junction 22 for Burnham and J23 for Bridgwater.
The driver of the car sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, but sadly died.
Avon and Somerset police would now like to hear from anyone who was on the M5 Devon-bound at the time and may have witnessed the crash or have dash-cam footage.
If you’re able to help, please call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5219265362.
