Victim falls between two junctions
Police were called at 2.20 pm on Sunday (3 July) to the M5 between junctions 28 and 29 following reports of concern for a woman located on a bridge.
Subsequently, the woman fell and was airlifted to the hospital with what are currently believed to be serious injuries.
Both carriageways were closed for some time but have since reopened.
