An operation's begun to move thousands of tons of sand to help protect Teignmouth's Seafront.
Teignbridge District Council say they want to ensure the Point isn't damaged by storms this winter and they're shifting ten thousand tons of sand from the estuary. They say beaches absorb energy from the waves and help protect the shore.
The operation is expected to last for three weeks.
