Commemorative WW1 sign had been swiped from the Guildhall
A metal sign commemorating the Great War has reappeared after going missing on Monday from railings outside Exeter's Guildhall in the High Street.
In a post on social media, the council had said: "It's unlikely you'll enjoy it as much as the people of Exeter did. Exeter residents respect the memory of those who gave their lives so you can live in a free country."
Now the sign is back in safe hands.
