After their sensational performance of Monteverdi Vespers in 2023, Budleigh Music Festival are delighted to welcome back, by popular request, the Armonico Consort to perform Rachmaninov’s hauntingly beautiful Vespers.
Inspired by the ambience of the Russian Orthodox Church and imbued with spirituality and mysticism, Rachmaninov considered this to be his greatest work.
The concert starts at 8.30pm to add an extra dimension to the music as the sun sets.
