Free bus travel for armed forces personnel

Stagecoach South West to support our armed forces on Saturday with free bus travel

Stagecoach South West is offering free travel for armed forces personnel, as part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations.

On the day itself, Saturday 29 June, Stagecoach South West will be offering free bus travel to armed forces personnel wearing their uniform or carrying a military ID card. The free bus travel is also available to veterans wearing their uniform or veterans badge.

Armed Forces Day is a chance for the public to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.

Bob Dennison, Stagecoach South West Managing Director, said: “We are proud of our armed forces communities; we appreciate them and are grateful for everything they do. We hope that military personnel and veterans, choosing to travel to a local event, will have an enjoyable day and we are delighted to show our appreciation for their commitment to our country.”
