Fewer standing places for Exeter v Carlisle

Stand aside, a thousand of you!

1,000 fans can't use Big Bank

Due to the ongoing redevelopment at St James Park, home of Exeter City FC, the capacity of the Big Bank will be reduced to 2,640 for the first game of the season against Carlisle United.

The game will be Matt Taylor's first competitive match in charge of the Grecians.

There are only a limited number of seats in the IP Office Stand left for the match and with the normal capacity of the Thatchers Big Bank, which stands at 3,960, reduced by more than a 1,000, there is every chance the match could sell-out in advance, meaning there would be no way to purchase tickets for the game on the day.

It is hoped that the capacity for the Thatchers Big Bank will only be restricted for the opening game of the season as work on the redevelopment of the stadium is going well.
