Local companies urged to help the young unemployed

Exeter businesses are being urged to sign up to a mentoring scheme to help young unemployed people.

The Business Empowering Employment Programme or BEEP involves training for those between 16 and 24.

A similar pilot project was launched earlier this year by Exeter City Council as part of its Rugby World Cup legacy programme.

Motiv-8 South West is working with the council on the project.
