Second Dartmoor illegal rave in fortnight

Police say an apology to the National Park "wouldn't go amiss"

A second illegal rave in a fortnight took place on Dartmoor yesterday [5 January].

Around 60 to 100 people reportedly attended at Meldon Quarry near Okehampton in the early hours.

No arrests are believed to have been made, though the force are charging £200 plus £20 a day in storage fees to collect a Land Rover which was left there.

They added that "an apology to the National Park for damaging their land wouldn't go amiss".
