A north Devon man has been who sexually abused three children over a three-year period has been jailed for two years.

Dale Padmore was found guilty of six counts of sexual activity with a child on Monday (24 May) following a trial at Exeter Crown Court.

The 22-year-old, of Belvedere Road, Ilfracombe, sexually assaulted the three victims between 2014 and 2017.

He was also given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the sex offender register for 10 years. He is also subject to a restraining order forbidding any contact with one of the victims for 10 years.

Detective Constable Nick Rowell was the officer in the case. He said: “Despite committing these crimes, Padmore tried to maintain his innocence.
