A new take on classic drama

More Information (Radio Exe is not responsible for external websites)

This is a fresh stage adaption of a classic drama by playwright Henrick Ibsen and is touring across the UK, with a week stint in Exeter.

Hedda is a strong woman feeling confined by societal expectations. Her pursuit of control unfolds into a dramatic and darkly humorous narrative spanning 36 hours.

With the contribution of seven skilled actors, captivating sets, and an immersive soundscape, this production brings the story to life.

Andrew Whittle, the producer and director, has crafted a contemporary rendition while preserving the original essence, making it more relatable to today's audiences.

The production has been described as 'highly enjoyable, engaging, and entertaining for modern audiences'.
