Award winning centre stage proudly present Bernstein and Sondheim’s ground breaking musical West Side story.
This modern day storytelling of Romeo and Juliet takes place in 1950s Manhattan where it’s the Jets and the Sharks, two rival gangs who make New York's mean streets even meaner.
This timeless tale of 2 star crossed lovers is set to a background of an iconic and exuberant score with memorable numbers such as “Tonight”, “I feel pretty” and “Maria. With exhilarating dance numbers and its passionate yet still relevant theme, West Side story remains one of the world’s best loved musicals.
