A 33-year-old man from Newton Abbot died
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage – following yesterday’s fatal crash on the A38.
They were called at 2.45am on Thursday [25 July] to reports of a single vehicle collision, involving a motorbike, at Chudleigh Knighton.
The rider, a 33-year-old man from Newton Abbot, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team, Serious Collisions Investigation Team and a Forensic Collision Investigator also attended and the road was closed for a number of hours whilst a specialist examination took place.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have been in the area at the time and have dashcam footage are asked to contact 101, quoting log number 94 for 25 July.
