Second such Devon incident in days
Two suspicious deaths in Devon in the space of a few days are no longer being treated as possible crimes.
Just after midnight on Tuesday a police were called to an address in the East Devon village of Beer where they found a man in his 30s dead.
They arrested a man aged 30 on suspicion of attempted murder. He's now been released without charge and the matter handed over to the coroner.
Last Saturday morning, a similar scenario played out in Okehampton, following the death of a 60-year-old woman at a property in Wonnacotts Road.
After taking a 64-year-old man into custody, they later released him saying the matter was no longer being treated as a criminal investigation. The woman's death has also been reported to the coroner.
