A demonstration's taking place in east Devon today against over-development in the district.
Local protesters are joining a national day of action highlighting what they say are flawed planning policies.
East Devon's local plan, if approved, will mean more than 17 thousand new homes being built in the district by 2031 - and the campaigners don't believe that many are needed.
They're joining the day of action by Community Voice on Planning who think estimates for housing demand are notoriously unreliable and lead to over-development.
The protest takes place at 3pm this afternoon outside the offices of East Devon district council in Sidmouth.
