A forty two year old cleaner has this afternoon been found guilty of killing his former partner and dumping her body in a suitcase in Exeter.
Kostadin Kostov, who's from Bulgaria, had denied murdering thirty eight year old Gergana Prodanova at their flat in Mount Pleasant Road. The trial at Exeter crown court was told he then dragged her body, concealed in a suitcase, through the streets before leaving it on a railway embankment at Blackall Road.
Kostov was sentenced to life imprisonment and he'll be behind bars for at least nineteen years.
