Man hit by car
A cyclist has died in a collision with a vehicle in Bideford on Friday evening.
Emergence services were called around 6.35pm to Northam Road in the North Devon town where a man had been knocked off his bike by a car. He was declared dead at the scene.
At approximately 1825hrs on Friday 4th June 2021 Police attended a report of a RTC involving a car and pedal cycle on Northam Road, Bideford, The road was closed for a number of hours for a forensic examination of the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or the vehicle or cyclist before the incident, or who may have dash camera footage. The police log number is 783 of 4 June.
