Devon students concerned about grades

WATCH: Covid year has affected study

Exeter University has put in place a 'no disadvantage' policy to protect the grades of students who have spent much of the academic year studying online rather than in tradition lectures, seminars and tutorials.

Grades this year won't be lower than usual years.

It's just one of the initiatives to help students in what has been an exceptional year.

Lily Margaroli, a final year student, still thinks grades haven't been protected as much as they could have been. Normal things like turning up at the library unplanned haven't been possible. She is concerned about the impact reduced grades may have on future job prospects.

In Plymouth, Marjon student Jack Gilliam says the university has helped when his household had to isolate after one flatmate contracted covid.
