Exeter is leading the way with solar power projects.
Exeter City Council has won an environmental award for having the first car parks with solar panels in the UK; the John Lewis and Mary Arches street multi-storeys are expected to generate £50,000 pounds worth of electricity a year.
Now the Exeter Phoenix has created the first cinema in the region which also uses solar panels.
