Two men from Exmouth are preparing to spend Christmas running a soup kitchen in the refugee camp at Calais.
John Plastow from Brixington Church and Pete Turner from Littleham Parish Church are leading a group of volunteers to feed some of the six thousand would-be migrants stranded there.
The pair visited the camp in October - and say the miserable conditions there made themn determined to do something to help.
They say £25 will feed 200 people.
